Angelina Jolie Breaks Her Silence On Split With Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie just reminded us that she is still one of the baddest to ever do it! She’s 42, a single mother with six kids and I can’t think of a model or actress half her age that is more beautiful than her.

Ever since her split from Brad Pitt, everyone has been waiting for Angelina to tell her side of the story or at least update us on how she’s doing. I think we all thought that they would let a little time pass by and maybe try and work things out, but that’s not the case. Honestly, who could Brad and Angelina date moving forward? It’s going to be weird seeing them with anyone else and I’d really appreciate it if it could just go back to normal!

Angelina covers the newest issue of Vanity Fair magazine where she opens up about the split……

On her split from Brad Pitt: “It’s just been the hardest time, and we’re just kind of coming up for air. [This house] is a big jump forward for us, and we’re all trying to do our best to heal as our family….things got bad…I don’t want to use that word…Things became ‘difficult.’”

On her kids: “[Our lifestyle] was not in any way a negative. That was not the problem. That is and will remain one of the wonderful opportunities we are able to give our children…They’re six very strong-minded, thoughtful, worldly individuals. I’m very proud of them. [They’re] very brave…in times they needed to be. We’re all just healing from the events that led to the filing…They’re not healing from the divorce. They’re healing from some…from life, from things in life.”

On developing hypertension and Bell’s palsy: “I can’t tell if it’s menopause or if it’s just been the year I’ve had. Sometimes women in families put themselves last until it manifests itself in their own health. I actually feel like more of a woman because I’m being smart about my choices, and I’m putting my family first, and I’m in charge of my life and my health. I think that’s what makes a woman complete.” FYI: Bell’s Palsy is characterized as sudden weakness in the muscles on one half of the face. Angelina credits acupuncture with helping her make a full recovery. Hypertension is a condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high.

On something Knox said to her: “He said, ‘Who wants to be normal? We’re not normal. Let’s never be normal.’ Thank you—yes! We’re not normal. Let’s embrace being not normal.”
