Ok, ladies now let’s get in ‘Formation’ for Beyonce‘s new fitness clothing line, Ivy Park!
Over a year ago TopShop revealed that Beyonce would be teaming up with the brand to release a fitness line. Since then we didn’t hear anything else about it, so at one point I was getting nervous it wasn’t going to happen. Then today happened! Not only did Beyonce reveal the name of the clothing line, Ivy Park, but she also released the commercial.
In the commercial, Blue Ivy makes a special cameo and Beyonce is seen rocking a variety of looks and also shares the message behind the line.
She says,
“I’d wake up in the morning, and my dad would come knocking on my door and tell me that it’s time to go running. I remember wanting to stop, but I would push myself to keep going. He taught me discipline, and I would think about my dreams. I would think about the sacrifices my parents made for me. I would think about my little sister and how I was her hero. I would look at the beauty around me. The sunshine through the trees. I would keep breathing.”
“There are things I’m still afraid of. When I have to conquer those things, I still go back to that park. Before I hit the stage, I go back to that park. When it was time for me to give birth I went back to that park. The park became a state of mind. The park became my strength. The park is what made me who I am. Where’s your park?”
Ivy Park will be available in stores and online on April 14. The collection reportedly contains 200 pieces, but I’m not taking any chances. I’ll be online first thing that morning buying stuff because I’m sure it’ll be sold out in minutes.
