The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! The official trailer for the fierce all-female cast of Ocean’s 8 has been released. Going off the wise words of New York Times, “Who needs George Clooney with the heist-thriller franchise he started with Ocean’s Eleven now that we have Ocean’s 8 starring amazing actresses?”
According to E-News, “Ocean’s 8 stars Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, and the beloved Rihanna who attempt to pull off the heist of the century! Sandra Bullock, who plays Debbie Ocean the sister of Danny Ocean (George Clooney), gathers up the fierce squad of women to pull off a heist at the glamorous New York City’s annual Met Gala.”
I wasn’t that big of a fan of Ocean Eleven when it came out but I sure will be a fan of Ocean’s 8 given this empowering female cast! This will also be another movie under the belts for Fenty queen Rihanna who might I add is a great addition to the team.
Last week fans got a glimpse at the movie’s first poster which already signaled huge success and this week the official trailer was released! I can’t wait to support my fellow women with their debut of Ocean’s 8 during the summer of 2018.
