No matter what movie I see Kate Winslet in, or whatever magazine cover she’s on, almost 20 years after her hit movie Titanic, I still refer to her as Rose. I’m sorry, I’m just one of those people who get emotionally attached to characters, I can’t help it. Anywho Rose covers the June 2014 issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine looking absolutely stunning in that black Lanvin dress.
In the issue Rose opens up about her career, marriage and not being able to get a mani & pedi.
On her husband Ned Rocknroll: “Nobody knows him—it’s brilliant. They like to think they know him. They like to be judgmental because of his name and everything, but it’s fabulous because no one knows anything about him.”
On getting back into films: “It’s time to get back. Back to the ‘I don’t f*ck around,’ back to the KW basics of take some serious risks, put yourself out there. And just really push it.”
On getting her first manicure in months: “I know it sounds very self-effacing because people say, ‘Oh, you’re a film star. People probably come to your house to do it.’ But I don’t have the time to get my nails done apart from when I’m doing a photo shoot.”
