It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt.
Social media has done more harm then good, especially when it comes to someone’s personal life.
Yesterday, singer Kehlani got dragged on social media for supposedly cheating on her boyfriend NBA star Kyrie Irving with her ex boyfriend, Party next Door.
Party Next Door posted a picture of her in his bed, well technically her hand and let everyone put two and two together. Later that evening, rumors were swirling that Kehlani tried to commit suicide and she confirmed it in a Instagram post that was later deleted.
She wrote,
“Today I wanted to leave this earth. I’m being completely selfish for once. Never thought I’d get to such a low point, But.. Don’t believe the blogs you read .. No one was cheated on and I’m not a bad person… Everyone is hurt and everyone is in a place of misunderstanding. But as of today, I had no single wish to see tomorrow.. But God saved me for a reason, and for that… I must be grateful.. Cuz I’m not in heaven right now for a reason. On that note.. Bye Instagram.
Let’s all pray that Kehlani gets better. Also, ask yourself if there would be this much backlash if the rumor was that Kyrie cheated on her with his ex girlfriend?
