In the issue Kendall opens up about her modeling career and how it was growing up before their reality show. One thing Kendall refused to talk about was her dad, Bruce Jenner‘s transition. All the answers that everyone is looking for will come out when he does his interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday, April 24th on ABC.
On her dad and the rumors surrounding him: “All that is bulls**t. I don’t even know what they’re talking about, so I have no idea. That’s why this life is different. That’s why this life isn’t normal. You know what I mean…That is not for me to answer.”
On her dad growing up: “My life was always different growing up. I mean, even before the show, my dad was who he is. He’s an Olympic athlete. And we were going to premieres, like Finding Nemo premieres, and we would be little kids, like, before the show, walking down the red carpet.”
On her modeling career: “I didn’t do it because I felt like I had to prove something. This is a career that I’ve always wanted. And I mean, what else would I be doing? I probably would have gone to school to get the degree to go to work, when work was already there.” She’s deliberately kept the E! cameras away from this part of her life. “I told them from the beginning, I was like, ‘Okay, love you guys, but we’re not gonna do this. You’re not gonna follow me to shows, you’re not gonna be with me on this ride.’ ”
