Kim Kardashian has been very open about her struggles to get pregnant. After having complications with both of her pregnancies, Kim opened up to Keeping Up With The Kardashians viewers that her doctors told her it would be too dangerous for her to endure another pregnancy.
On this past season of KUWTK, Kim started to look into getting a surrogate. Both sisters Khloe and Kourtney volunteered but it seems as though Kim decided to take another route.
It’s just been revealed that Kim and Kanye have hired a surrogate to carry their third child!
According to TMZ,
Kim and Kanye have found a surrogate through an agency and agreed to pay the following:
$45,000 in 10, $4,500 monthly installments
– If there are multiples, the surrogate gets $5k for each additional kid
– If the surrogate loses reproductive organs, she gets $4,000
Kim and Kanye are also required to deposit $68,850 with the agency. The surrogate is required to refrain from smoking, drinking and drugs during the pregnancy. She also agrees to restrict sexual activities in the weeks leading up to the pregnancy, including foregoing sexual intercourse for 3 weeks following embryo implantation. The surrogate cannot go in hot tubs or saunas, cannot handle or change cat litter, apply hair dye, drink more than one caffeinated beverage per day or eat raw fish. The agreement provides that Kim and Kanye “assume the legal and parental responsibilities for any child … that may possess any congenital or other abnormalities or defects.”
No word on how far along they are with this process! For all we know this surrogate could be 8 months pregnant with Kim and Kanye’s third child and ready to give birth next month. It’s a great idea because now they will have months alone with their third child with no one even knowing about it. Let’s not forget that Kim joked about doing that earlier this year!
