Kris Jenner deserves a trophy for everything that she’s gone through. I know people love to criticize her and assume the worst, but let’s sit back and really think about this. Not only did she have to deal with her husband of over 20 years transitioning into a woman, but she had to deal with it in front of the entire world. I’d love to see anyone else handle it as good as she did.
In the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Kris opens up about Caitlyn Jenner and Kanye West!
On dealing with Caitlyn Jenner’s transition: “I just have to let it go. And try to be tolerant, [With] prayer. God. You know, just trying to understand. It takes time. But time is a wonderful healer. And we have two children together. It’s important for my kids to see our family strong and united.”
On not knowing what transgender meant: “I never really thought about it before. And I’d never known anyone who was transgender. I didn’t even know what the word meant. Because there’s transgender and transsexual … I just didn’t know much about it. So…I definitely got a big education.”
On her son-in-law Kanye West: “I couldn’t be prouder. One thing people don’t realize about him is, not only is he so beyond talented, but he’s also a genius. And when he’s here, he’s so present. He’s the best daddy, and the best husband. Kim is so lucky to have him.”
