It was only a matter of time before someone addressed the reason why Jay-Z and Beyonce decided to skip Kim and Kanye’s wedding. Rumors surfaced days before the wedding that even though Jay-Z was supposed to be the best man, there were no plans for hip hop’s most powerful couple to attend. It was supposedly because they didn’t want to be in any photos or videos and they referred to the wedding as a “circus”.
Kris Jenner who’s still doing promo for KUWTK’s new season stopped by the Australia radio station KIIS 106.5 FM where she opened up about Jay-Z & Beyonce skipping the wedding of the year.
When asked she said,
“There was so much commotion and excitement, I never really gave that a second thought,”
“If you had been there, you would have thought that was the last thing on anyone’s mind.”
she added, “[I] just assumed they were working.”
Lies told by Kris Jenner! We all know Jay and Bey were not working. They were both chilling with Blue Ivy in the Hamptons. Right before Beyonce sent out the Instagram post wishing Kimye a lifetime of happiness, she posted a pic of her new hairstyle while chilling in bed. I’m sure they knew about Kimye’s wedding long enough for them to be able to rearrange any work obligations if that really was the case. Beyonce made sure she was able to make Kelly Rowland’s wedding!
