Actor Leonardo DiCaprio was supposedly dating pop star Rihanna a few months ago. The story made the cover of many magazines and websites. Both parties neither confirmed or denied the rumors, so in Hollywood that means they were definitely dating, or at least hooking up.

Once two celebrities become an item the next rumor is that their pregnant. Well, a French magazine put it on the cover of their magazine that Leo and Rihanna were having a baby and now Leo is suing!

According to TMZ,

Leo filed the suit against Oops! for its May 28 cover story … which declares that Leo knocked up RiRi, and will not recognize the baby as his. In the docs, Leo’s lawyer calls the story “pure fantasy.”

Here’s what’s odd — sources close to Leo tell TMZ … his team recently contacted Oops! and informed the people running the magazine that the story was false. We’re told the mag’s response went something like … yeah, we know and we don’t care — except in French.

One source tells us it’s almost like the magazine wanted to be sued, possibly just to gain publicity.
In the suit — first reported by Gossip Cop — Leo is demanding Oops! fork over 18,000 euros (about $20,000) in damages and attorney fees. That amount is the maximum allowed under French law.

This story may remind you of when Tom Cruise sued InTouch Weekly for $50 million for publishing false stories about him. Tom settled with the magazine out of court. Actor Bradley Cooper is also suing a French magazine about a story they posted involving him and model Irina Shayk. It’s crazy how these magazines have no problem publishing totally fabricated stories and their not worried about being sued because they want the publicity. SMH!
