Beauty & The Beast was definitely one of my favorite movies growing up. I remember watching it, then rewinding it on VHS over and over and over again. I’m not a fan of classic movies being remade so I was kind of mad when I heard they would be doing that to Beauty & The Beast. Then, I watched the trailer and I got so excited. Now, after hearing Ariana Grande and John Legend‘s remake of the Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson classic, I’m officially counting down the days till ‘Beauty & The Beast’ hits theaters (March 10th).
Producer Ron Fair released a statement saying, “Stepping into the shoes of an Oscar- and Grammy Award-winning classic is not small potatoes, but with today’s two greatest singers—John Legend and Ariana Grande—we are bringing the song back with a new school/old school fresh treatment that shows the soulfulness and power of what a great melody and lyric can inspire.”
