When will y’all ever learn not to come for Rihanna, unless she sends for you?
Rihanna got a lot of hate for that fabulous outfit that she wore to the 2014 CFDA fashion awards (see here) where she accepted the Fashion Icon of the year award. First off, let’s start off by giving props to designer Adam Selman for making this one of a kind piece for the bad gal herself. Second, let’s address the haters! Rihanna looked drop dead gorgeous in this transparent, sparkly mesh gown. Yes, you can see her boobs and ass, but why is that a problem? The naked female body is beautiful, it’s art and when it looks as good as Rihanna’s does, why not show it off? The only people hating are the ones who know they could never pull this off.
Well, TLC just happened to be one of those people who had a problem with RiRi showing her goods. In an interview with Australia’s Sunrise, TLC’s T-Boz had this to say about Rihanna, “Every time I see you, you don’t have to be naked. And it’s hard for us to say anything because every time we say something, ‘Oh TLC, oh they must be jealous.'” She added, “I call a spade a spade. We became the biggest-selling girl group of all time with our clothes on, and that says a lot. It’s easy to sell sex.”
After Rihanna got word of what T-Boz said (thanks to the Navy) she tweeted the following,
