Orange Is The New Black’s, Taylor Schilling aka Piper has become one of Hollywood’s most talked about actresses. With all the success from the show, how could you not constantly be talking about Piper? The first two seasons were amazing and I’m half way through season 3 and it just keeps getting better.

Taylor covers the July issue of Net-a-Porter’s The Edit and in it she talks about her new found fame, having a chaotic childhood and not fitting it.

On her unconventional upbringing, which saw her splitting her time between her divorced parents: “I think I was just born rogue… My parents did not have a good relationship. There was no sense of, ‘This is where you belong. This is how you have a friend over for a tea party. This is how you go to a dance’. It was chaotic. I thought, well, I might as well go off-map.”

On feeling like she doesn’t fit in: “It’s an asset and it’s a liability. It can feel painful to be on the outside looking in, and it can be incredibly liberating to say, ‘Alright, I’ve got nothing to lose.’”

On relocating to Los Angeles after Orange Is the New Black wraps: “I am an East Coast person through and through. But I like coming here [to LA] to blend in. And my plan, after I’m done with Orange, is to relocate here. But who knows when that will be? I might be 80, still in prison…”
