I can only imagine how hard it is for a woman to go through a divorce, but to go through it in the public eye must be hell. Paula Patton and Robin Thicke knew each other since they were 14 years old, were married for 9 years and had one child before getting divorced. Paula filed for divorce and it was rumored that she filed because Robin turned into a cheating dog.
In one of her first interviews since her divorced finalized, Paula Patton opens up to Meredith Vieira.
On her divorce from Robin Thicke: “You know I’m doing really well. It’s been a long year and a lot of challenges but I’ve grown quite a bit and just getting used to change.”
On feeling like a different woman: “I live in a place of gratitude and growing up in many ways I think, I moved from my parents’ house to moving in with Robin,” the mother of one, who met Thicke when she was barely 14 before tying the knot in June 2005, continued, adding, “And now I’m like becoming an adult at this old age. I’m really like a real woman now.”
