Jessica Simpson is a mother of two, her youngest being three years old and her body looks fabulous!
In the past, Jessica has been scrutinized in the media for her weight fluctuating, but who’s doesn’t? It’s just crazy how society expects these celebrities to be what their idea of perfect is at all times.
In the issue, Jessica opens up about finally learning to love her body. She talks about trying to ignore the media and once considering breast reductions.
On learning to love her body: “But recently, since I’ve worked out so hard, I’m also loving my stomach — knowing I grew babies in it, and then having to go through a transformation and just owning it,” she said.
On her breasts: “My boobs just have their own life. They have a way of making themself present. I thought I was going to get a breast reduction, but after having kids, I look at myself and I’m like, you know what, my boobs are actually really big, but I like how they are. They’re an asset, and Eric [Johnson, her husband] loves them still,”
On media scrutiny: “Media scrutiny sucks. I can’t sit here and say I don’t notice it.” But she tries her hardest to rise above it: “I will never understand why people take someone down for what you look like. If I had a character flaw, take me down. But a body flaw? That’s not important.”
