Melissa McCarthy Gets Fierce On The Cover Of ‘Rolling Stone’

Funny girl Melissa McCarthy covers the summer issue of Rolling Stone magazine looking fiercer than ever! I’m just loving how she rocked that wind blowing through my hair aka Beyonce effect.

With her upcoming new movie Tammy (which looks super funny) set to hit theatres soon, Melissa talks to the mag about becoming a comedian, her other hit movie Bridesmaids and her bad eating habits.

On doing standup as a drag queen when she started her career in comedy: “I really dressed to rival a drag queen, for sure. I had a gold lamé swing coat on, a huge wig, big eyelashes,” McCarthy recalls. “I talked about being incredibly wealthy and beautiful and living extravagantly.”

On rambling about dolphin sex during her Bridesmaids audition: “There’s not one thing you could have done to seem any stranger. Sex with a dolphin? Handplay with a dolphin! You just could not have been any weirder.”

On her self-destructive habits: “I could eat healthier, I could drink less. I should be learning another language and working out more, but I’m just always saying, ‘Ah, I could get hit by a bus tomorrow.’”
