Zendaya is winning!
After getting the role of Aaliyah in Lifetime’s biopic, Zendaya has just been named the face of Madonna’s Material Girl clothing line.
I follow Zendaya on Instagram, along with the other 3.4 million people and homegirl is always on top of her game. Whether she’s at a red carpet event, or just hanging out she is always dressed to impress. Pretty much every look I see her in I feel like I need to rock as well, and now that Zendaya is the face of Material, we all can!
Zendaya announced the news via her blog. She wrote,
“I am so excited to be chosen by Madonna and Lola as the new face of Material Girl; they are such a dynamic mother / daughter duo,” Zendaya shared in a statement. “Material Girl embraces having fun with fashion and being confident in your own skin… and who does that better than Madonna.”
Madonna had this to say in a press release,
“Zendaya exudes a confident, free spirit. We love having her as the new face of Material Girl,”
She’s such a little Rihanna in the making!
