In the last year Balmain has become a household name! It’s definitely the go to brand for so many celebrities. Literally every single Kardashian, high end model and actress wears the high fashion brand on a regular basis. It was most recently seen been rocked at the Met Gala and the Billboard music awards.
Now, if it was up to me I would be wearing Balmain on a regular basis, from the dresses, jackets and shoes. Only problem is that it’s too expensive for a none celebrity. So, when it was announced that Balmain would be teaming up with H&M I was beyond excited. I’ll be able to wear my favorite high fashion label at a reasonable price. I’m sure it’s going to be way more than the usual H&M price. Alexander Wang collaborated with H&M previously and his stuff was priced from $50-$300, but it’s so worth it.
Balmain designer Oliver Rousteing released a statement saying, “I want to talk to my generation: this is my main aim as a designer. H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain [to] get a piece of the dream and create a global #HMBalmaination: a movement of togetherness, fueled on a hashtag.”
H+M & Balmain won’t be in stores until November 5th so we all have enough time to prepare our buying strategy. I’m sure everything will be sold out within hours of it’s release.
