The Kardashians Cover ‘The Hollywood Reporter’

Say what you want about the Kardashians, but they learned how to turn a bad experience into a billion dollar brand!

Really think about this, because of Kim Kardashian‘s sex tape that was released in 2007, the Kardashians ended up getting a reality show which turned them into a  household name.  Keeping Up With The Kardashians then started to have spinoffs (Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Khloe & Lamar, etc), the girls started to get endorsements, hosting gigs, launched their own brands and the rest is history. I honestly think the main thing behind their success is Kris Jenner, she is a hustler and has the ability to make anything a success.

The Kardashian and Jenner girls cover the newest issue of The Hollywood Reporter in honor of the reality show’s ten year anniversary!

Kim, on what was the most difficult scene to film: “The most difficult thing [to film] was probably Caitlyn‘s transition and just seeing my mom and Khloe having such a hard time. We never really edited content before, but we did edit a bit of Khloe’s reaction just because she was so upset.” Khloe adds: “If I act a certain way, I act a certain way, but I just knew in my head this needed to be a four-hour episode. This is so real, and I want to ask every question I have, but also I want honest answers.”

Kourtney, on filming her breakup withScott Disick: “The hardest episode to film was my break-up with Scott [Disick]. I had a lot of anxiety about it, and finally said let’s just get this over with. I sat down and started crying. You go through something, and then you move past it. Then you do your interview, and get all riled up again. And then you see the episode, and start seeing all these comments [on social media].”

Kris, on Caitlyn’s notion that she came up with the idea for KUWTK: “It’s so absurd. I’m not sure what the motivation was for her to say something like that. Maybe somebody should remind her that it’s called Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
