After Caitlyn Jenner‘s transition, the first thing everyone wanted to know was if she was going to date women or men.
Rumors were swirling that Caitlyn was dating her transgender friend Candis Cayne who also appears on her reality show, ‘I Am Cait’. Candis transitioned from male to female like Caitlyn so they have a certain bond and so much chemistry. In the preview of the upcoming season of her reality show, Caitlyn opens up about dating. She says,
“No. I never have [been with a man]…to be honest with you, I can’t see myself dating women in the future,” Cait told her friends (via People). “I’ve been there. Done that. I have three very strong ex-wives. I just don’t see it. I don’t see a woman being attracted to me.”
She later added, “I can’t even imagine some guy going out with me and then being absolutely scrutinized by the tabloids. Can you imagine if I actually had a date and walked out of a movie theater on a quiet Wednesday night holding hands with somebody? I think it would be really tough on me. It certainly would be tough on the guy. Like, ‘Why are you dating her? What are your motivations?’ It just gets so complicated because of the media that I don’t know any guy who would want to go through something like that.”
