Bruno Mars and Cardi B are ringing in 2018 with their debut music video for the remix of his song “Finesse.” Cardi B and Bruno Mars both slayed the music scene in 2017 and they’re already pressing forward into the new year with bigger and better content! Both artists teased the premiere of their collaboration but fans weren’t expecting them to drop the 90s inspired aesthetic in the music video like they did.
According to US Magazine, “The colorful video kicks off with the duo recreating the intro to In Living Color and later finds them dancing on the actual set of the early ‘90s Fox sketch comedy. “This video is dedicated to one of my favorite T.V shows of all time,” Mars tweeted.”
What a great song to collaborate on and who better than Cardi B to help express that 90s vibe that we all strive for. When there are anything 90s related, I’m all over it and I must say that this video is amazing! On a side note, Bruno Mars is nominated for six Grammys this year and Cardi B received two nominations for her breakout song “Bodak Yellow.” Who knows, they might make an appearance together at the Grammys. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this dynamic duo.
