Starting off 2018 on a high note, with no pun intended, Justin Timberlake has announced his new album, ‘Man of the Woods,’ release date! It’s been nearly more than four years after the release of JT’s album The 20/20 Experience so a new album from JT is long overdue. On Twitter, Justin disclosed that Man of the Woods is set to be released on Feb. 2nd which is perfect timing considering that his Super Bowl halftime show performance is on Feb. 4th.
According to Billboard magazine, JT says that “this album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I’ve ever written, where I’m from…and it’s personal.” In addition to his statement, the release video includes glimpses of his wife, Jessica Biel, and son, Silas in various landscapes as well as audio provided by his album collaborator Pharrell.
With all of that being said, I’m eager to listen to Man of the Woods when it releases and I’m even more excited to see if he will debut some of his new material at his Super Bowl halftime show performance. Will Pharrell make an appearance during the halftime performance given his album collaboration with JT? Will Justin still bust out his highly acclaimed dance moves? So many questions with so little time. I guess you’ll have to stay tuned to see for yourself.
